The Return

“The past never dies. It kills.”

Joanna Mills (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is a successful businesswoman with few friends, an estranged father, and an ex-boyfriend who keeps turning up. Then she starts seeing a woman's murder in terrifying visions, and she follows them to the victim's hometown, where Asif Kapadia lets the secrets there refuse to stay buried. The killer, she believes, has already picked his next target, and it is her.
