The Return of Don Camillo

Don Camillo Tarocci (Fernandel) is a big, loud priest in the farming town of Brescello, and he is back after his punishment to pick up where he left off. Waiting for him is Peppone (Gino Cervi), the Communist mayor who has not forgotten a single grudge. Julien Duvivier keeps the two of them trading blows over politics and pride, and each man would sooner lose a fight than be seen going without the other.
