The Return of the Tall Blond Man with One Black Shoe

François Perrin (Pierre Richard), the clumsy violinist who briefly passed for a master spy, only wants to be left alone with his music. Colonel Toulouse (Jean Rochefort) has other plans. He kidnaps Christine (Mireille Darc) and forces François back into the one-shoe disguise, so fake adventures will bury an inquiry. Yves Robert plays it as a farce in which nobody can say what is real, and the reputation François never earned will not let him go.
