The Returned

“Neither Zombies Nor Humans”

Years after a zombie outbreak, the infected live ordinary lives in a world that has learned to manage them with a daily dose of medicine. That supply is now running low, and Kate (Emily Hampshire), a physician, is on the run with her infected husband Alex (Kristen Holden-Ried), with angry demonstrators close behind. Manuel Carballo keeps the focus on the two of them, a marriage held together by a daily dose and by whatever each is willing to give up for the other.
