The Rewrite

“A comedy about getting on the same page.”

Keith Michaels (Hugh Grant) won an Oscar for screenwriting, but his career has stalled, and with nothing else on offer he leaves Hollywood to teach at Binghamton University. There he meets Holly Carpenter (Marisa Tomei), a single mother back in school, along with a classroom of students who've never heard of him. Marc Lawrence, who wrote and directed, gives Grant a script of easy banter and a campus where people mostly mean well.
