The Rise

“He gave a year of his life. Now he's stealing it back.”

In a British town where work is scarce and loyalties are local, Harvey Miller (Luke Treadaway) walks out of prison after serving time for a crime he didn't commit. He brings his three closest friends into a plan to rob the drug kingpin whose betrayal put him inside, while D I West (Timothy Spall) keeps watch. Rowan Athale builds the film around Harvey, a man who left a boy and came out wanting only to settle the debt.
