The Rocker

“Opportunity rocks.”

Twenty years ago, drummer Robert "Fish" Fishman (Rainn Wilson) was thrown out of his band right before it became a huge success. Then his sister Kim (Christina Applegate) asks him to fill in for her son Curtis (Teddy Geiger), whose high school band needs a drummer for the prom, and Fish gets one more chance at the life he lost. Peter Cattaneo builds the story on a plain idea: a person who never stopped wanting this can still play like he means it.
