The Rocket

Maurice Richard (Roy Dupuis) is a French Canadian from a working family who becomes the fastest, fiercest scorer on the Montreal Canadiens. Charles Binamé follows him through the 1940s and 50s, with Lucille (Julie Le Breton) beside him and coach Dick Irvin (Stephen McHattie) behind the bench. In the Anglophone-run NHL, the whole province is watching every game, and Maurice's temper puts all of it at risk.
