The Rocket from Calabuch

A famous nuclear scientist has vanished, and nobody who knew him can say where. Professor Hamilton (Edmund Gwenn) has turned up in Calabuch, a seaside town where he is simply another stranger, and the schoolteacher Eloísa (Valentina Cortese) is among the people he meets. Luis García Berlanga builds the film around what a man gets back when he stops being useful to anyone and starts being a neighbor.
