“A different set of jaws.”

A flat tire on a deserted road sends the newly engaged Brad Majors (Barry Bostwick) and Janet Weiss (Susan Sarandon) to the nearest mansion, where the door is opened by Riff Raff (Richard O'Brien). Inside they meet Dr. Frank-N-Furter (Tim Curry), a flamboyant scientist in the middle of unveiling his latest creation, a muscular man built to order. Jim Sharman stages it all as a loving, low-budget tribute to the horror and science fiction B movies he grew up on.
