The Room Next Door

Ingrid (Julianne Moore) writes autofiction novels and has lost touch with Martha (Tilda Swinton), the friend she once worked beside at a magazine. Martha spent her career as a war reporter, and when the two meet again after years apart, the circumstances are extreme and oddly tender. Pedro Almodóvar, making his first feature in English, adapts Sigrid Nunez's novel with the care he brings to everything.
