“Bulls, guns, whips, gold and one sacred cat.”

Beck (Dwayne Johnson) collects debts for a loan shark and would rather be a chef. His last job before quitting is to bring the boss's mouthy son Travis (Seann William Scott) home from the Brazilian Amazon, where he has gone looking for a treasured artifact. Peter Berg sends a man of few words upriver with a partner who never stops talking, and the film is about two people who have to work together while each wants the other gone.
