The Ruthless

“In Milan, the thirstiest wins.”

Santo Russo (Riccardo Scamarcio) comes to Milan in 1967 as a boy from Calabria, and what he wants is a better life than the one his family left behind. Prison hands him a different education, and by 1978 he is running robberies, kidnappings and heroin with his friends Slim and Mario. Renato De Maria tracks fifteen years of this, and every job Santo takes puts his life and the people around him further at risk.
