The Sacrament

“Live as one. Die as one.”

Two VICE journalists, Sam (AJ Bowen) and Jake (Joe Swanberg), follow their friend Patrick (Kentucker Audley) to a remote compound where his estranged sister Caroline (Amy Seimetz) now lives. Ti West shoots it as their own footage, and nearly two hundred residents welcome the crew into Eden Parish, which answers to a man they call Father (Gene Jones). The film is about what people hand over to a leader who promises to take every worry from them.
