The Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent

(1957)Directed by Roger Corman66 minAdventure, Fantasy, Drama
“Fabulous! Spectacular! Terrifying! The raw courage of women without men lost in a fantastic Hell-on-Earth!”

In a Viking village where the men have sailed away and not come back, the women build a ship of their own. Desir (Abby Dalton) and Enger (Susan Cabot) are among those who push out onto the open sea to find them, and their search leads to the Grimolts, barbarians who hold the missing men captive and worship a sea serpent. Roger Corman shot it fast and cheap in 1957, and the low budget shows in every frame.
