The Saint of Fort Washington

Matthew (Matt Dillon), a young man with schizophrenia, loses his apartment when a slumlord tears the building down, and he lands in the Fort Washington Shelter for Men, where the thug Little Leroy (Ving Rhames) soon singles him out. Tim Hunter follows him to Jerry (Danny Glover), a streetwise combat veteran who takes him on like a son. Out on the cold streets, they lean on each other against the numbing isolation of having nowhere to go.
