The Salesman

Cracks open along the walls of their building in Tehran, and Emad (Shahab Hosseini) and Rana (Taraneh Alidoosti) have to leave, taking a flat a friend finds them in the center of the city. Asghar Farhadi follows the couple as they rehearse Arthur Miller's Death of a Salesman at night and settle into rooms still holding the previous tenant's belongings. An incident tied to that tenant reaches Rana, and the marriage has to hold up under it.
