The Salt of Tears

Luc (Logann Antuofermo) comes to Paris for the first time to sit the entrance exam for a carpentry school, and he meets Djemila (Oulaya Amamra), a young worker, along the way. A short romance follows before he goes back to his home town and starts seeing Geneviève (Louise Chevillotte). Philippe Garrel shoots it in black and white, and what sits between Luc and the two women is a young man's habit of leaving before anyone can ask him to stay.
