The Salton Sea

“If you're looking for the truth, you've come to the wrong place.”

Tom Van Allen (Val Kilmer) plays trumpet in a Los Angeles hotel room and lives as Danny Parker, a drug addict moving through the city's nightlife underworld. His wife has been murdered, and he is looking for a way back from it. D.J. Caruso follows him among dealers and strangers, Pooh-Bear (Vincent D'Onofrio) among them, with the trumpet case always in his hand.
