Yasmine (Nadine Labaki) keeps her fractured family moving forward on a barren island where they scavenge for water and shelter. With her husband Nabil (Ziad Bakri) and their two children, Adam (Zain Al Rafeea) and Jana (Riman Al Rafeea), she builds routines from scraps. As hunger and isolation wear them down, the things they've buried begin to surface, and survival becomes less about finding food than about whether the family will hold together long enough to leave.
