The Sandlot

“They're more than a team. They're the best buddies in the entire history of the world.”

Scotty Smalls (Tom Guiry) is the new kid in the San Fernando Valley in the summer of 1962, and he has never thrown a baseball in his life. Benjamin Franklin Rodriguez (Mike Vitar) lets him into the neighborhood's sandlot crew anyway, and David Mickey Evans narrates the summer that follows, along with the mystery beyond the right field wall. It's a story about being the last one picked and finding out that a ragged bunch of boys can still make room for you.
