The Saphead
Bertie Van Alstyne (Buster Keaton) is the naive, spoiled son of Nicholas Van Alstyne (William H. Crane), owner of the Henrietta silver mine. Herbert Blaché and Winchell Smith direct this 1920 comedy, Keaton's first starring role in a full-length feature. Bertie's brother-in-law Mark (Irving Cummings) pins a scandal on him and jeopardizes his wedding, and the family money is the next thing Mark touches.
