The Scapegoat
“Two men, one face.”
John (Matthew Rhys) is a lonely man who wants only to be somebody else, and in 1952, with England preparing for the coronation, he gets the chance. He meets Johnny, a stranger with exactly his face, and is soon swept into the family home of Lady Spence (Eileen Atkins) and Blanche (Jodhi May). Charles Sturridge ends on John in Johnny's place, wearing the stranger's clothes, the door of the house still open to him.
