The Sea Inside
Ramón Sampedro (Javier Bardem) has lain in the same bed for almost thirty years, a ship mechanic and part-time poet left quadriplegic by a diving accident, and he has spent them fighting for the legal right to end his own life. Alejandro Amenábar follows the people drawn to him, among them his lawyer Julia (Belén Rueda). Ramón lies in his bed and writes poems, and everyone who comes through the door leaves a little changed.
