The Seamstress

“Two lives sewn together by love.”

In the thirties, two sisters are pulled apart and left to manage alone. Luiza (Nanda Costa) faces a group of renegades in the countryside, while Emília (Marjorie Estiano) is judged by high society in a big city. Breno Silveira follows each of them through prejudice and sexism, and each sister has only the other to depend on, with no one else coming to help.
