The Seasoning House

“Innocence isn't lost... it's taken.”

Angel (Rosie Day), a deaf mute orphan, wants out of the brothel where she is kept to tend the girls sold to soldiers. Goran (Sean Pertwee) runs the place, and Angel learns its hidden spaces, moving through the walls and crawlspaces unseen. Paul Hyett's debut ends on Angel in the dark between the walls, listening for a sound she cannot hear.
