The Secret in Their Eyes

“An unsolved crime. A love story. An unwritten ending.”

In Buenos Aires, retired criminal investigator Benjamín Espósito (Ricardo Darín) sits down to write a novel about a case from the 1970s that never left him: a newlywed raped and murdered, the killer never settled. He goes to Irene Menéndez Hastings (Soledad Villamil), a judge and his former colleague, to help him make sense of what happened. Juan José Campanella follows a man who kept the file closed for decades and cannot say why.
