The Secret Invasion

“The Daring Plan; The Staggering Odds!”

In the middle of World War II, the Allies go into their prisons and recruit convicts for a mission behind enemy lines. Maj. Richard Mace (Stewart Granger) leads a crew that includes Roberto Rocca (Raf Vallone) and Terence Scanlon (Mickey Rooney), with Roger Corman keeping them in tight frames together. Any man who survives gets a pardon, so the film is about what a person will risk when freedom is the only pay.
