“Ever wonder what your pets do when you're not home?”

Max (Louis C.K.) is a terrier in a New York apartment whose whole day is built around waiting for his owner, Katie (Ellie Kemper), to come home. Then she brings back Duke (Eric Stonestreet), a giant stray who takes the couch, the food and her attention. Chris Renaud follows the two dogs as they are forced to share a home, and neither of them wants to.
