The Sentinel

Mathias Barillet (Emmanuel Salinger) is a young medical student who opens his luggage and finds a shrunken human head inside. The discovery pulls him into a world of international intrigue he has no training for. Desplechin sets Mathias beside Jean-Jacques (Thibault de Montalembert), and the film turns on what each man will and won't tell the other.
