The Seven Kittens

“Who drew the flying dicks on the bathroom wall?!”

A low middle-class household in 1980 Brazil sits around the table of Noronha (Lima Duarte), a civil servant, his frustrated wife Gorda, and their four eldest daughters. Then the youngest, Silene, comes home from boarding school, sent back after she killed a female cat and her seven newborns in a hysterical fit. Neville D'Almeida lets the family crowd the small rooms, and the dead kittens turn up in every glance across that table.
