The Seven Year Itch

“It TICKLES and TANTALIZES! - The funniest comedy since laughter began!”

Richard Sherman (Tom Ewell), a publishing executive, puts his wife and son on a train for the summer and is left alone in a sweltering Manhattan apartment. Then a young woman (Marilyn Monroe) moves into the flat upstairs, and his imagination starts supplying scenes his conscience has no answer for. Billy Wilder sets a faithful husband against his own wandering mind, with a wife (Evelyn Keyes) still due back at the end of the summer.
