The Seventh Victim

(1943)Directed by Mark Robson71 minHorror, Mystery
“Weird pagan rites in secret dens of exotic mystery! Beauty enslaved to a creed of Evil! Loveliness at bay behind a mask of Terror... See the strangest thrills on record!”

Mary Gibson (Kim Hunter) leaves her boarding school and takes the train to New York, determined to find her older sister Jacqueline (Jean Brooks), who has disappeared. In Greenwich Village, Mary follows the trail through Dr. Louis Judd (Tom Conway) and Jason Hoag (Erford Gage), and the people who knew Jacqueline keep giving her half-answers. Mark Robson's debut keeps Mary a stranger in every room, a girl with a suitcase and one name to ask about.
