The Shack

“You're never as alone as you think.”

A note arrives in Mack Phillips's (Sam Worthington) mailbox, an invitation to meet God at the shack, the place that broke his family. Stuart Hazeldine sends him there carrying years of grief, where Papa (Octavia Spencer), Jesus (Aviv Alush) and Sarayu (Sumire) are waiting. Mack comes in angry and guarded, and the film turns on whether a man who blames God can sit at a table with Him.
