The Sheepman

(1958)Directed by George Marshall85 minWestern, Comedy
“They called him the STRANGER WITH A GUN...”

Jason Sweet (Glenn Ford) rides into a Western cattle town as if he owns the place, and he wants to graze a herd of sheep on its range. That is the one thing the cattlemen will not stand for, and the whole town sets about driving him out, including Dell Payton (Shirley MacLaine), who watches this stubborn stranger with plenty of her own opinions. George Marshall plays it loose and sunny, and Jason doesn't back down an inch.
