The Shepherd

“This Christmas, hope will guide you home.”

It is Christmas Eve, and Freddie (Ben Radcliffe), a young fighter pilot, is flying home over open water when he loses his way. Iain Softley follows him through the night, with a voice in the dark that Johnny Kavanagh (John Travolta) seems to know more about than he lets on. What the film cares about is how much a lost person needs someone to answer.
