The Short History of the Long Road

“A story about survival.”

Nola (Sabrina Carpenter) has spent her whole life in a van with her father, Clint (Steven Ogg), moving from one stretch of road to the next. Then tragedy strikes, and she is left behind the wheel with no one to tell her where to go. Ani Simon-Kennedy follows her through the first weeks alone, a girl learning that the road she knew belonged to two people.
