The Siege at Thorn High

Edwin (Morgan Oey) made a promise at his sister's deathbed to find the son she gave up years ago. His search lands him at Duri High School in Jakarta, where he takes a job as a substitute teacher among the city's most violent juvenile delinquents. When he finally finds the boy, a riot breaks across the city and the doors close on him. Joko Anwar keeps the camera inside those corridors and lets the pressure build from one hallway to the next.
