“The Irish army's forgotten battle”

In September 1961, Irish Commandant Pat Quinlan (Jamie Dornan) takes a small UN company into the Congo, where French and Belgian mercenaries move to surround his position. Richie Smyth keeps the troops pinned in one place, short on ground to give and with little room to breathe. Quinlan has to trust the men beside him, including Sgt. Jack Prendergast (Jason O'Mara), while the officials who sent them argue about whether they are worth saving.
