The Sign of Zorro

“MASKED RIDER LEAVES DREADED 'Z'”

Don Diego de la Vega (Guy Williams) comes home to a pueblo now ruled by Capitán Monastorio (Britt Lomond), a commandant who answers to no one. Norman Foster and Lewis R. Foster, working from eight episodes of Disney's television series, send Diego out in a black mask to ride against the soldiers, with his mute servant Bernardo (Gene Sheldon) beside him. Under the swordplay is a plain idea: a town that cannot protect itself needs someone willing to stand up for it.
