The Silent House

“Real Fear In Real Time”

Laura (Florencia Colucci) travels with her father Wilson (Gustavo Alonso) to an isolated cottage, where they plan to sleep one night before repairing the place for its owner, who means to sell. Then a noise starts upstairs, and Wilson climbs to look while she waits alone in the dark below. Gustavo Hernández tells it as the last seventy-eight minutes of her night, and the film is about what a house can hold back from whoever has to stay in it.
