The Singer

Alain Moreau (Gérard Depardieu) sings for one of the last dance bands in Clermont-Ferrand, and the women who fill the floor still treat him like an idol. Then he meets Marion (Cécile de France), a much younger businesswoman who seems distant and spoken for, yet starts to show quiet signs she shares his interest. Xavier Giannoli sets a man in his later years against a dwindling audience and a feeling he thought he was done with.
