“Nothing like a little group therapy.”

The children of five single mothers attend the same private school in Atlanta, and an incident there throws the women together. Hillary Massey (Amy Smart), Jan Malcovitch (Wendi McLendon-Covey) and May Miller (Nia Long) arrive with very different lives and schedules, and Tyler Perry sets them around one table. Esperanza Luego (Zulay Henao) and Lytia Wright (Cocoa Brown) take their seats, and the five of them look at one another across the room.
