The Siren

“Love will haunt you”

Tom (Evan Dumouchel), a mute man, goes to an isolated lakehouse hoping to get through a stretch of his life in quiet. There he meets Al (MacLeod Andrews), who is still grieving the recent death of his husband, and the two start out friendly. Perry Blackshear lets that ease sour once Tom befriends Nina (Margaret Ying Drake), a mysterious woman Al cannot stop distrusting, and the film is about how grief and loneliness make a person reach for whoever is nearest.
