The Skeleton Twins

“Family is a cruel joke.”

On the same day, in two different places, Milo Dean (Bill Hader) and his sister Maggie (Kristen Wiig) both come close to dying, and neither has spoken to the other in years. Craig Johnson brings them back under one roof, where Milo moves in with Maggie and her husband Lance (Luke Wilson) and the two start picking through what drove them apart. The film is about how hard it is to save yourself while the one person who knows you best stays out of reach.
