The Slap

Jean Douléan (Lino Ventura) is a Parisian teacher, a man who has built a settled life around his job and his daughter, Isabelle (Isabelle Adjani). Claude Pinoteau starts the story the evening she announces she means to quit school and move in with her boyfriend, and Jean answers her with his hand. Now father and daughter are living apart, and whatever he says next to her has to repair that slap.
