The Sleeping Car Murders

(1965)Directed by Costa-Gavras89 minCrime, Thriller, Mystery
“Suddenly a scream pierces the air...and you're shocked to discover it's yours!”

Inspector Grazzi (Yves Montand) wants one thing from a bad morning at the Paris station: to find out which of five tired passengers killed the young woman in the sleeping berth. Costa-Gavras, in his first feature, keeps Éric Grandin (Jean-Louis Trintignant) and the others under the inspector's questioning as bodies start turning up. With each death the pool of suspects shrinks, and the survivors begin to wonder who is next.
