The Small Back Room

“Danger! Top Secret!”

Sammy Rice (David Farrar), a scientist in a cramped wartime laboratory, wants to be useful, but a bad foot and a bottle keep pulling him down. Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger set his private fight against drink beside the public war, and Susan (Kathleen Byron) is the one who sees both.
