“Miracle, magical, musical entertainment for all ages of the heart!!!”

Gerda (Yanina Zheymo) is a girl who loses her best friend Kai (Anna Komolova) when the Snow Queen (Mariya Babanova), a lonely and powerful fairy, carries him off. Lev Atamanov's 1957 Soviet adaptation of Hans Christian Andersen's fable follows her as she sets out to bring him back. She has no magic and no army, only the obstacles in her path and a stubborn certainty that he is worth the trip.
