The Snow Queen

“Cold can freeze your heart, love can set you free”

Gerda wants her brother Kai back, and the Snow Queen has already turned him into an ice statue and shut the world inside eternal winter. She sets out on a long, freezing trek to the far North, an adaptation of Andersen's 1844 fairy tale from directors Vladlen Barbe and Maxim Sveshnikov. Voice work comes from Ivan Okhlobystin (Orm) and Dmitriy Nagiev (Vospitatel), and Gerda keeps walking north, one frozen step at a time.
